What attracted you to Peninsula Wealth? What are you most excited about?

I joined Peninsula Wealth for the opportunity to learn all sides of wealth management, including relationship management, operations, and wealth planning. I’m most excited to have my interests intersect with my professional career. Since barely passing my first college chemistry class and realizing that a scientific career was not in the cards for me, I, in the meantime, learned about compound interest and opened a Roth IRA, which gratefully catalyzed my interest in finance. I also look forward to closing the wealth inequality gap with women and minorities and helping HENRY’s (High Earners Not Rich Yet) feel secure and confident with their finances.

Tell us a little about yourself that isn't financial services based!

I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. Outside the office, you can find me swimming before work and outside on the weekends, picnicking, surfing, and cooking up new recipes to enjoy with my friends and family.

Tell us a little bit about your background.

I’ve spent over eight years in commercial banking. I recently spent the last three years at Silicon Valley Bank, working specifically with early-stage technology companies in the consumer and internet sector, underwriting venture debt, and asset-based financing.

What advice do you have for people who are considering financial planning services?

Find someone who truly listens to you, your family, and what you need. No financial plan is the same so finding someone you trust and value is an important part of the decision. It can be an emotional discussion so you want to have the right partner.

What interests you most about the financial industry?

I love getting to know people and listening to their life experiences and how it shapes their emotions and influences their behavior around money.
